John
Rogers is an English professor at Yale
University. He wrote The Matter of Revolution: Science,
Poetry, and Politics in the Age of Milton (1996) and is writing
a book called Milton's Passion. I met Prof. Rogers while taking
his enormously popular Milton lecture at Yale, and subsequently took
his Spenser seminar. I interviewed him in 2005 in his office
at Berkeley College, where he is the master.
