The following day, pianist Jerome Lowenthal and I will give the Washington, D.C., premiere of the Fantaisie along with Messiaen's two other works for violin and piano, performed on a violin from the Collections of Musical Instruments, along with "The Oriole" from "The Bird Catalogue," for piano
